  Lots of bugfixes (thanks to all those who reported them). Mostly small fixes including: moved some hdparm references, one spelling error, some things on Win32 DLL paths and removed some sections irrelevant to Xine 0.5.

  Now Xine 0.5 is out of the door, I've started updating the HOWTO for 0.5. Released first preview release.

  Been a while since the last update, mainly due to the &#@!!ing Ximian Setup Tools royally messing up my networking (and the loopback device, which meant KDE couldn't talk to DCOP and... well you can imagine!). This is a minor bug-fix version with an updated wrapper script from Bruno Pinaud. The big news is the Spanish translation kindly provided by Jeffrey Esquivel which has caused a minor site redesign. Please e-mail Jeffrey (jefall AT racsaDOTcoDOTcr) if reporting bugs with that version.

  Thanks to lots (and lots) of bug reports from many people, the Xine HOWTO is now (IMHO) fairly stable. I've decided to bite the bullet and release it as v1.0. Now that is has gone to 1.0 there will (of course) be many bugs found and many ommissions pointed out. Bugs/suggestions/flames to the normal place. Update: Fixed some redundant sections reported by Bruno Pinaud and added information on Xv using Savage cards.
